All BBCDC locations are licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and are also licensed by the City of Chicago (six departments inspect the facility annually and provides a license - Heating and Ventilation, Health Department/Food and Sanitation, Nurse, Plumbing, Electrical and Fire Safety Department).

Learning School (31st Street location), Busy Bees Child Development Center I (Shields location) and Busy Bees Child Development Center II (Chinatown location) are both in partnership with EasterSeals Metropolitan Chicago and DFSS for Head Start and Early Head Start.

Our BBCDC sites have achieved circles of quality from The ExceleRate Illinois quality rating system. Excelerate Illinois is a quality rating and improvement system designed for continuous improvements in quality for Illinois daycare centers pertaining to early learning and development.
